About My Guitar Club
Our schedule is designed to be flexible for you! We have multiple sessions every week (check out our calendar) and you can choose up to 8 sessions every week to suit your schedule! If your schedule changes that week then choose different sessions that week! You never need to miss a night of playing guitar with other like minded enthusiasts! We have sessions to cater to all levels from complete beginners to advanced!

We pride ourselves on accessibility and inclusiveness. Here, it doesn't matter if you've never even held a guitar or if you've worn your fair share of frets down in your time – our sessions are made for you, becoming simpler or more complex depending on your level.

Come along to your chosen session(s) with your guitar and a small practice amp and start playing some music. Acoustics are welcome, too!
In order to become a member of The Guitar Club, you’ll first have to choose from 4 Memberships.
You can then attend up to eight sessions every week.
Remember, you are in control of your sessions, and you can choose to go to as many as you want.

Modes & Arpeggios
Our Modes & Arpeggios sessions take your guitar playing to the next level. We will dive deep into all sorts of scales, master the CAGED system, and explore arpeggios. These lessons will give you the skills to confidently improvise over a different tune every week.

Song Sessions
Through the Song Sessions, our main focus will be on playing one song throughout the session. You will learn techniques to make it easier to remember songs, learn how to play with a group, and apply lessons from other courses in different musical situations.

The Band
Here we will focus on rehearsing a setlist that will be played live locally with a drummer and bass player. It’s up to you how many songs you want to play in the band! Not playing at all is fine too!

The Anchor Inn
📍 High St, Wingham, Canterbury CT3 1BJ. With a rich history dating back to the 17th century, this charming pub is a popular spot for both locals and visitors alike.
The Pilgrims Hotel
📍 18 The Friars, CanterburyThe Pilgrims Hotel is situated right in the heart of Canterbury, close to shops and restaurants, and only a few minutes walk to the Cathedral.
The Chambers
📍 Cheriton Place, Folkestone CT20 2BBOpened in December 1998, The Chambers went from a standing start basement bar to become almost immediately a social, musical and artistic hub of the town, featuring grassroots and international live & DJ music from the start, gallery space & book launches.
Tofts Cafe Bar
📍 37 Grace Hill, Folkestone CT20 1HQTofts was once a jazz club / music venue and boasts a rich musical history. The building has a blue plaque featuring the names of some of the great musicians (such as Little Richard, Fleetwood Mac, The Who and more) who played at the venue in the 60’s. We have poured love and soul into renovating Tofts to a music inspired café bar with decor that pays homage to the legendary music history of the space.
